Dear user, if you wish to understand the reason for the penalty or appeal it, you may use one of the three available channels. Please do not send duplicate messages, as all requests are processed in the order they are received.

1. GAME ACCOUNT POLICY

1.1 | By creating an account within our project, the player automatically declares that they have read, understood, and agreed to all rules and guidelines established by RioRise servers. This includes general rules, specific RP rules, penalties, prohibited conduct, and any future updates communicated by the administration.

1.2 | The server administration is not responsible for any player accounts, including all items, values, properties, or goods contained in them. This means that any loss resulting from hacking, fraud, account sharing, negligence, inattention, or any other type of security violation is entirely the player's responsibility. We recommend that each player keep their account secure, do not share login data, and use additional authentication whenever possible.

1.3 | The transfer, sale, trade, or loan of game accounts to third parties is strictly prohibited. Any attempt or completion of such an act will result in a permanent ban of the involved account.

Punishment: permanent ban

1.4 | It is prohibited to use names with sexual connotation or apology/glorification of crime in the in-game nickname.

Any name that falls into these situations will have the account automatically blocked, without prior notice.

Other names that do not violate account rules will be tolerated, such as: "Th", "Vulgo", "Mnr" or nicknames by which the player is known, as long as they maintain an appropriate standard and do not violate any established rule.

Punishment: 7-day ban

1.5 | It is prohibited to use nicknames containing profanity, insults, offensive terms (including disguised or abbreviated versions), or any language considered inappropriate.

Punishment: 7-day ban

1.6 | It is prohibited to create a nickname that is repetitive, very similar to, or imitates the nickname of other players, administrators, or any team member, whether in spelling, pronunciation, or formatting. This practice causes confusion, makes identification difficult, and may be interpreted as an attempt to impersonate someone else.

Penalties:

  • Warning (Warn)
  • Mandatory immediate nickname change
  • Permaban in cases of clear attempt to impersonate administrators/staff or cause harm to third parties

Punishment: 10-day ban

1.17 | CC (Cutting Corners) is prohibited.

CC is considered the act of using vehicles (car or motorcycle) to drive through fields, sidewalks, grassy areas, rough terrain, or any place outside the designated road, with the objective of shortening the route or gaining unfair advantage.

CC will be enforced in action breaks and will not be tolerated during any type of action involving government or criminal organizations, including street actions, pursuits, operations, wars, escapes, or approaches.

Punishment: 15 minutes of jail.

1.18 | ABUSE (abuse of police power) is prohibited, characterized by improper use of authority outside RP standards or server rules.

Punishment: 20-day ban / IP ban

1.20 | Staff Administrators have full authority to apply bans accompanied by the instruction "CONTACT SUPPORT".

This measure applies in the following situations:

  • When there is a formal report against the player and they are not present in the server or Discord;
  • When the player is not visible to the administration and there are indications or proof of irregularities within the server;
  • When the case needs to be forwarded for complete review by the support team.

In these cases, the ban will be applied preventively and the player must contact support for verification and possible review of the punishment.

Punishment: 365-day ban

2. PENALTY TERMINOLOGY

2.1 | Verbal Warning

A verbal warning is a direct notice given by an administrator to alert the player about inappropriate conduct. Its objective is to guide and ensure the player corrects the behavior before more severe punitive measures are applied.

2.2 | Kick

Kick consists of the player's immediate disconnection from the server, performed by an administrator. It is used to interrupt inappropriate behavior, apply quick corrections, or alert the player that their conduct needs adjustment. Kick does not have a definitive punitive nature, being a preventive administrative measure to maintain organization and proper server functioning.

It may result in Kick, for example:

  • Disruptive behavior in HP (Hospital), harming treatment or medical RP;
  • Disruptive behavior in VOIP, shouting, polluting communication, or preventing other players' RP;
  • Disturbing other players during RP interactions, approaches, or ongoing scenes;
  • Minor disrespect for conduct rules or lack of common sense that does not require a greater punishment;
  • Remaining AFK in places that harm server flow (queues, appointments, events);
  • Disorganizing administrative events or official actions in progress.

Disruptive behavior in VOIP, shouting, polluting communication, or preventing other players' RP;

Remaining AFK in places that harm server flow (queues, appointments, events);

Disorganizing administrative events or official actions in progress.

2.3 | Mute Mute is the penalty that blocks the player's access to text chat, preventing them from sending messages for a determined period. This punishment is applied in cases of spam, insults, toxic behavior, misuse of chat, or violation of server communication rules.

2.4 | Jail Jail is the penalty that places the player in isolation within a specific location on the server for a determined time. This measure is used to punish more serious or repeated infractions, ensuring the player serves a temporary punishment without interfering with the experience of others.

2.5 | Warn Warn is a formal notice applied to the player, recording a significant infraction of the rules and possibly imposing temporary restrictions. This penalty serves as an alert for the player to adjust behavior, since the accumulation of Warns leads to more severe punishments.

Note:

Upon receiving a Warn, the player will automatically be removed from any faction they are part of.

In addition, a 24-hour gameplay block will be applied, preventing the player from joining any faction during this period.

After completing 24 hours of gameplay, the player may join a faction again, but the Warn will remain recorded on their account.

If the player accumulates 3 Warns, their account will automatically be blocked for 10 days.

2.6 | Ban Ban consists of blocking the player's account, preventing access to the server for a determined period or permanently, depending on the severity of the infraction.

IP Ban:

IP Ban blocks the device or IP address used by the player, making access to the server impossible regardless of the account used. This penalty is applied in more serious cases, such as hacks, fraud, severe abuse, or repeated offenses.

2.7 | Permaban Permaban is the permanent blocking of the player's account, preventing access to the server definitively. This penalty is applied only in extremely serious cases or when the player shows severe repetition in infractions considered intolerable.

2.8 | Report Mute Report Mute is the penalty that blocks the use of the function to report problems, doubts, or reports within the server. This punishment is applied when the player uses the report system improperly, abusively, with spam, or for purposes unrelated to support. During the Report Mute period, the player will not be able to send reports and must wait until the penalty ends to use the feature again.

Penalty: 40-minute mute

2.9 | Account Reset Account Reset is the penalty that completely removes all of the player's assets, items, and progress, leaving the account in an initial state, as if starting from zero. This punishment is applied in serious cases, usually related to system abuse, bug exploitation, fraud, or serious rule violations.

Note:

  • The reset includes complete deletion of:
  • All monetary funds (bank and wallet)

  • Properties (houses, apartments, offices, garages, etc.)
  • Transportation or construction companies
  • Businesses and acquired establishments

  • After the reset, the player keeps only the account itself, with no assets, value, or links on the server.

3. GENERAL RULES OF THE ROLEPLAY PROCESS

3.1 | Deliberately fleeing the Roleplay process by any means is prohibited.

Every player must maintain active and continuous RP during interactions that affect their character. Any attempt to avoid, escape, or intentionally interrupt an RP situation is considered a serious rule break.

Note | Examples of violations:

  • Going AFK during a police approach or conflict situation to avoid consequences;
  • Leaving the game (quit) to prevent your own death, arrest, kidnapping, or any negative outcome for the character;
  • Completely ignoring interactions from another player when those interactions directly impact your character;
  • Entering interiors, safe zones, or green zones during a shootout with the intention of escaping death or fleeing RP;
  • Using IC or OOC excuses to not follow an already started action that clearly involves your character.

These attitudes harm the narrative, break immersion, and directly affect other players' experience.

Penalties: punishment applied according to the rule break shown in the situation; for Example: if you quit, CL will be used.

3.2 | USE (improper vehicle use) is prohibited: using work vehicles or vehicles belonging to any organization/faction for personal purposes, off duty, or without authorization.

  • Ban between 1 and 5 days, depending on severity

  • A player with a large amount of money or properties distributing values, items, or goods to other players without RP justification;

8.27 | Absolute prohibition on bringing players from other servers to fraudulently increase membership

It is strictly prohibited for members of a family or mafia to intentionally bring players from other servers only to participate in family wars or mafia takeovers, with the objective of inflating member numbers and gaining unfair advantages.

Any attempt or proof of this practice will result in severe punishments such as a direct warning to the family immediately, without prior notice. This conduct harms server integrity and will be fought rigorously.
